The ThunderCougarFalconBeards is the new project of the Italian Greebo Games. Among the most popular producers in the world of alternative teams for fantasy football, whether Blood Bowl, but also Deathball or Street Bowl, there is a small company in Poggio a Caiano, near Prato, Florence.
Who is Greebo Games?
Greebo is a manufacturer of miniatures that has its origins in the (now) distant 2005, from the former professional goldsmith Lorenzo Giusti. It is currently based in Poggio a Caiano, near Prato, in Italy. The product line includes miniatures for use in Fantasy Football related games and other role-playing or wargaming systems, both pre-existing and created entirely in-house. In addition to several collaborations with Lucca Comics & Games, the Bood Bowl World Cup 2015, Greebo Games presented several projects on Kickstarter, all successfully completed.
On Facebook, particularly in the populous “Blood Bowl Community” group, I’ve lost count of how many enthusiastic shopper posts I’ve seen. The success of this small company is truly incredible. After all, the quality of their models is indisputable. If you remember, a while ago I also interviewed Lelio from Konsa Painting Studio who was painting for Greebo the orc team from the previous Kickstarter: the Vicious Wildfire. ThunderCougar FalconBeards: the new team of dwarves
Greebo continues to enrich its catalog and has just announced the arrival of a new campaign on Kickstarter to give life to a fantastic team of dwarves: the ThunderCougarFalconBeards. At the moment there is no Kickstarter launch date yet, but if you are registered on the platform, you can already be updated on the next news. And in doing so Greebo promises to unlock a character up to 4 unreleased characters based on how many followers will reach the pre-launch. At the time of writing this article, the page has 1040 followers, has already unlocked 3 characters and there is only one left that will be unlocked when it reaches 1200. Everything points to the launch as there are no other “pre-stretch goals”.
In any case, Lelio has already received them and is painting them. On his Instagram account you can already see some images of the miniatures while he is work on them. I find them really beautiful for details and print quality. All the Greebo miniatures are in fact made of “Greeblood resin”, a special water-based resin, non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
We just have to wait a little longer to see in detail the images of this incredible new team of dwarves that Greebo is preparing for the most passionate fantasy football wargamers! However, I leave you here some images of the thumbnails already released.
