Yes, it’s official: Duncan Rhodes leaves Games Workshop. One of the most known and appreciated faces by Warhammer fans will no longer be the brand’s YouTube channel reference.

The text he posted on Twitter leaves no doubt:

Duncan Rhodes leaves Games Workshop

For over six years, Duncan has illustrated to many fans how to paint Warhammer miniatures through fun, simple and quick videos: what many fans needed. The WarhammerTV format, which he helped define, is a virtuous example of how valuable tutorials are made for those who want to learn how to paint miniatures. At the end of the year he will leave us after 10 years of work in Games Workshop.

Who is Duncan Rhodes

For over ten years, as we said, he has been working for Games Workshop in Nottingham, where since 2013 he is presenter for WarhammerTV, the official YouTube channel of Games Workshop, and more recently also on the live Twitch channel. But he was not just a presenter, Duncan was also the creator of many of the tutorials he promoted, analyzing every phase of the video, from storyboarding to the test of the painting method that he would show in the video, to make it as concise and precise as possible. The success of the YouTube channel is mainly due to him.

If he ever reads this article, I wish Duncan the best and hope to see him involved in new projects from next year, to continue having fun with his sympathy and naturalness in front of the camera, which has always distinguished him.
