Gaalheri GHPM-Mobius 0.2 is the airbrush for painting miniatures that Gaalheri, a young airbrush manufacturing company, sent me to learn more about their products, their brand and their sales services. Let’s go in order.
Who is Gaalheri?
Gaalheri is a Chinese brand founded in 2022, specialized in the production of high-quality airbrushes. Despite being relatively young, in just two years it has managed to conquer the main global markets, thanks to a strong focus on innovation and quality of materials. In Italy, their products are available both on the official website and on Amazon, with warehouses in Germany for fast and reliable Prime deliveries. One of the things that struck me most is the possibility of purchasing every single spare part directly from their e-commerce, guaranteeing longevity to your airbrush.
Unboxing the Gaalheri GHPM Mobius 0.2
Let’s start with the unboxing! The airbrush arrived in a cardboard packaging, inside which the airbrush is well protected by a sponge. Inside, in addition to the airbrush, I found:
- the spare gaskets
- the lubricant
- the multilingual instructions (very useful, especially if you are a beginner)
The airbrush has an impeccable chrome finish and a weight that transmits solidity, a sign of good quality metal. Compared to other cheap airbrushes found on Amazon, the GHPM Mobius 0.2 stands out at first glance.
In addition, Gaalheri sent me a very practical storage box to store spare parts. This box can contain up to two needles, two nozzles, two nozzle caps and 3 air cups, with metal plates to mark the diameter of the needles. A real survival kit for those who want to keep their airbrush always in perfect condition!
My experience with the Gaalheri GHPM Mobius 0.2
This was my first time with an airbrush with a 0.2mm tip, and I have to admit that it took me a bit of practice to get the hang of it. Here are some tips I learned:
- Thin the color well: Even “AIR” colors need to be thinned with a specific medium.
- Increase the pressure of the compressor: with such a thin needle, too little pressure can cause a dirty and irregular jet.
Once I got used to these settings, the results were excellent. I tested the airbrush both on paper and on miniatures, using primers, diluted The Army Painter AIR, Speedpaint and Fanatic colors. The more I used it, the more I realized its precision and reliability.
My final verdict
The Gaalheri GHPM Mobius 0.2 is an airbrush that I highly recommend to those who want to move to a higher level without spending excessive amounts. It is perfect for the smallest details of miniatures and offers a build quality that is very close to that of more renowned brands, but at a cost even 3 times lower.
