Hi, I’m Stefano. I paint miniatures as a hobby. I started when I was 14, all by myself. I knew nothing of what it meant to paint miniatures and at that time, in the “last millennium”, it was very difficult to find information. Now, with social media, YouTube and the web in general, everything seems to be much simpler. I like the collaboration and inspiration that can give the sharing of images during work in progress.

The project
Miniatures of Death
This site, like all the associated social channels, wants to be a resource for those who are about painting miniatures for the first time. I well remember the difficulties I had when I started and living in the suburbs, being able to meet someone with your own passions was difficult.
But today there is the web, social media, fast connections. My other great passion and work. This is why I decided to combine the two and create this project. Maybe I won’t be the greatest and best miniatures painter of all times… but I can give a hand to those who want to get involved!

how i started this hobby
my story
Sometimes passion comes, and you don’t even know why. For me it was like this with this hobby. I had never heard of painting miniatures, but one day I saw an advertisement on TV and I was electrocuted. I was 14 and I remember that I did everything to find those few spare parts needed to buy the first release of “Collecting and painting miniatures”, a collection on sale in the 90s, and never was more appropriate choice.
