Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade
Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade was released on Windows platforms, during September 2016. It is a third-person shooter video game based on Warhammer 40,000. The gameplay is organized in maps, up to 30vs30 players where each player can customize his characters with variable classes according to the race and with usable objects according to the chosen class.
The playable races are:
- Space Marine (Ultramarine, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Imperial Fists)
- Orks (Evil Sunz, Bad Moons, Deathskulls, Blood Axes, Goffs)
- Eldar (Altansar, Biel-Tan, Iyanden, Saim-Hann, Ulthwé)
- Chaos Space Marines (Black Legion, Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion, Night Lords, Word Bearers)

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III
Let’s continue our list of Warhammer video games with Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III. It is a real-time strategy video game with multiplayer online battle arena influences, released by Relic Entertainment and Sega in partnership with the Warhammer mother: Games Workshop. It is the third stand-alone title in the Dawn of War series and the first new release in the series since Dawn of War II: Retribution in 2011. It was released for Microsoft Windows on April 27, 2017.
There are three factions available at firs: the Space Marines, who can be chosen also in the previeous two chapters of the game (Dawn of War and Dawn of War II), the Orks and the Eldar. During the game the player will also meet other factions such as the Deamons of Khorne, Necrons and the Imperial Guard. In the multiplayer game, for all the three factions there will be various skins, different chapters for the Space Marines, other Eldar’s craftworlds and different clans for the Orks.
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor
Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr is an action role-playing video game developed and published by NeocoreGames for Microsoft Windows in June 2018 and only in august of the same year it has arrived on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The gameplay uses a top-down camera and focuses heavily on both melee and ranged action. It has a leveling system and different playable character classes. Because of this game mechanism, the game has been frequently compared to Diablo. Inquisitor uses a cover system for both the players and enemies, and features destructible environments. The game can be played both solo and in co-op.
This time there are four playable classes:
- the Psyker
They have powerful area-attack and debuff spells; - the Crusader
They are slow but heavily armored; - the Assassin
Fast and deadly but lightly-armored; - the Tech-Adept
summons robotic minions to fight alongside him. Available only with the expansion.
Your role in this game will be to be a member of the Inquisition, a secret force tasked to fight Chaos and aliens around the Imperium. The events will take place in a sector of the Warhammer 40.000 universe which has been created specifically for this videogame: the Caligari sector.
Total War: Warhammer
Total War: Warhammer is a strategic video game with a real time turn based playing mechanism. It is the only one in this list (and in general) to be set in the Old World of Warhammer, which means the fantasy side. It has been developed by Creative Assembly and provided by SEGA, it was released on may 2016.
