CMON Comics Volume 1 is a new Kickstarter campaign presented today by CMON, the company that gave us Zombicide and many other board games such as Cthulhu: Death may die or Massive Darkness. CMON thus explores new possibilities, giving its fans something different: comic stories to live their characters’ experiences in an alternative way.

CMON Comics Volume 1: what is it?

From what we can see in the trailer published on the official Facebook page, the campaign includes three comics dedicated to the modern version of Zombicide, the sci-fi version of Invader and a volume about Cthulhu: Death may die. We still don’t know too much, the campaign was announced only today with a short video on Facebook that does not specify the details. We can already see that there will be new characters, new miniatures and therefore the possibility of integration and expansion for board games. This is probably the novelty that will appeal many of us!

Surely that fantasy has so many settings and characters that it could be dedicate an entire “volume 2” … Everything suggests that in the near future we will see more Kickstarter campaigns, given the name of this “volume 1”, or that the campaign will be structured to unlock new comics. Will we see fantasy heroes in a second campaign or as stretch goals? We will see…
