Today let’s have a look together to the Zombicide 2.0 paint set unboxing thanks to our friends at The Army Painter. The second edition of Zombicide 2.0 is about to arrive at the home for those who participated to the Kickstarter, which means the table top game will arrive on the shelves of all stores presumably in April.

For more than 10 years The Army Painter has been collaborating with CMON to provide color sets dedicated to CMON’s board games with miniatures. It has been like this since the first Zombicide, but also for The Others, Rising Sun as well as subsequent editions of Zombicide such as Black Plague, Green Horde and Invader.
For those who intend to paint the miniatures of this new version of Zombicide, once again The Army Painter has created a new dedicated paint set. Unlike the others, however, this new set is double the previous ones made by the Danish house, there are in fact 20 colors and I must say that the assortment is varied and useful even for those who do not intend to paint only Zombicide.

Wasn’t Phil the cop a Kickstarter exclusive?
Primary colors, several secondary colors, three washes and two metallics. There is basically everything to get started in this set! Complete the kit also a brush but above all, with this set you also have the miniature of Phil the cop. This character was a Kickstarter Exclusive for the participants of the Kickstarter. This choice could make those who participated the CMON campaign in October 2019 turn up their noses. The advantage of participating in the crowdfounding campaign lies precisely in winning the exclusive miniatures that will then be difficult to find once the game is marketed. The fact that Phil is still available in some way on the market makes the character less “exclusive” by making him lose value. What do you think of this choice? Couldn’t be better to provide another exclusive character?
