Angels of Death is an official animated series of Games Workshop set in the fantastic world of Warhammer 40000. Games Workshop has decided to take things seriously and is investing heavily in this new project, creating a dedicated team called Warhammer Media that is taking care of bringing to screens stories from the world of Warhammer 40000.

The Angels of Death series is planned for this year, 2020, although it was initially scheduled for last year. The trailer presented a few hours ago at the Las Vegas Open 2020 leaves no doubt.
What is this new animated series from Games Workshop about?
It is the story of a group, a team, of Blood Angels. We will follow the deeds of the Space Marines committed against the enemies of humanity, but the danger will also come from the Black Rage, the genetic defect that can lead them to be consumed by anger and madness.
Some of the authors of the Black Library, the novels of the Warhammer 40000 universe, are working on this new series. In the recent Games Workshop official release it is clear how the company is investing a lot in this project which seems to be only the beginning of a new path. Could this new animated series pave the way for a feature film? We’ll see…
We do not know if the style of the entire series will be the one seen in the trailer, which personally reminds me a bit of Frank Miller’s Sin City, with black and white colors except for the Blood Angels red. We just have to wait … and do you like this new project?
